K2 Granite Azurite – Occuring in the K2 mine of Pakistan, K2 azurite granite is a feldspar granite material that displays inclusions of black biotite and blue azurite, which create large spotted patterns of vivid color contrast. Some K2 azurite granite can display washed out green spots created by malachite inclusions. As a new find, research is still being done to learn more about this exciting stone.
Kunzite – Kunzite is the pale pink to lavender variety of Spodumene. Its coloration comes from inclusions of Manganese and it grows as prismatic, generally flattened crystal with parallel striations that often have pitting on the surface, which can have a silvery reflect. These pink crystals can fade in color over time if stored in direct sunlight.
Kyanite – Kyanite is a blue silicate mineral. These crystals are seen most often in a deep, almost denum blue hue, though other color variations can be found. Kyanite is brittle; making it very difficult to cut faceted stones from, and is often seen as a collectors or display piece or in a raw crystal form in jewelry pieces.
