Purpurite

Purpurite – Purpurite is a manganese phosphate mineral who’s pink to red-violet tones come from iron and manganese inclusions. This unusual stone forms only as masses without single crystals and has a distinct purpur sheen. Few locations are known: Namibia, Portugal and Minas Gerais/Brasil are discovered mining locations for this rare pegmatic mineral which always borders on lithium-rich pegmatite layers.
