Opportunities come and go when you scout for Gemstones and this was a real surprise to find shiny manganese-rich Purpurite Specimen in Brasil. This rare material is found in thick Pegmatite layers together with Kunzite and light colour Morganite. Purpurite is a deposit of Phosphate that filtered Manganese during the evolution of the rock formation approximately 165 million years ago.
